Andalusian Rock ClimbsPublished 1992. 162 pages, 10 colour plates, 16 black and white illustrations, 11 maps and diagrams. UK grades for all routes up to E5, pitch length, star ratings for all routes. Covers the amazing El Chorro, the high and wild El Torcal and the urban Mijas. El Chorro was the place to be a few years ago, but despite quieter times new route creation has continued, and there is still stacks to do in this wild and weird canyon. Also the hinterland has seen sporadic developments and then there is the extensive but currently little known climbing around Granada and Ronda; watch this space for further details. Although the guide is dated now it is the only source for full textural descriptions of the two great classics of the area: Amptrax and Zeppelin. It also covers the ever popular Cotos slabs in great detail.
