The new 2005 Costa Blanca Guide and he 2006 Eastern Grit Guide

After the superb success of the ground breaking Peak Gritstone East and Western Grit guides (both won the Outdoor Writers Guilds prestigious Guidebook of the Year award), the next guide in the new format was Costa Blanca. This has taken eighteen months of steady work and covers the whole of the 'White Coast" from Layva, La Panocha and Orihuela in the south up to Montesa, Gandia and Bellus in the north. Since then we have produced the new Bumper Fun Book Eastern Grit that fills in the gaps left when we did Peak Gritstone East.

ME AND MY GUIDE BOOKS

I have been climbing for 40 years and have written several guides (12 at the last count) to UK and European rock climbing. The over the past few years I have been documenting the best of Peak Grit in association with Alan James of RockFax. In 2001 we produced the award wining Peak Grit East, in 2003 we collaborated again on Western Grit and in 2006 produced Eastern Grit, the successor to Peak Grit East
